Our Personal Injury Law Firm Offers Representation With a Difference
The Law Offices of David Laurence Altman is the only personal injury law firm we know of that offers clients a choice of contingency fees. While personal injury attorneys do not ask to be paid in advance, virtually all personal injury lawyers charge a percentage (contingency fee) of any settlement or judgment recovered for the client. The usual contingency fee is one third (or 33 1/3rd %) of any pre litigation recovery and up to 40% on any post litigation recovery, award or judgment. Our standard contingency fees are very competitive, in fact in many cases our fees are lower than the fees other less experienced attorneys charge their clients. Our offices charges a flat 30% fee for any pre litigation recovery and no more than 35% of any post litigation recovery. In addition, we also offer a 25% discount fee option for our personal injury clients.
There is never any fee or
any charge in the rare event that we are unable to obtain a settlement,
award or judgment for our client.
How We Are Different From Other Personal Injury Law Offices
What really separates our personal injury firm from every other law firm is the special discount program we offer to clients who elect to work with us primarily via email, fax, priority mail and, of course, by telephone. To understand how this discount program originated and how it works, a little background information is in order:
As a long standing personal injury law office in the sprawling metropolitan Los Angeles, California area, we noticed that more and more of our personal injury clients preferred to avoid the hassles of traffic and long driving distances to our Beverly Hills, California office; those clients preferred instead to hire our office and communicate with us almost exclusively by email, fax, priority mail and telephone. We soon realized that clients who utilized these electronic and telephonic means to work with our office saved us considerable time as well, enabling our office to effectively represent a greater number of clients. An additional benefit was that this "high tech" form of attorney-client representation also made it practical for our office to represent clients not only in the Los Angeles or Southern California areas, but throughout the entire State of California.
As a result, our office began offering a special fee discount to those clients who were comfortable with such a unique, time saving, attorney-client relationship. While we always welcome clients to visit our offices in person and offer those clients our more than competitive standard contingency fees, clients who help us make the most efficient use of our time are offered discount rates of 25% of any pre litigation settlement and 30% of any post litigation recovery, award or judgment. These discounts increase our clients' net recovery by thousands of dollars without ever sacrificing or compromising the quality of the legal representation our clients receive. Multiple clients involved in the same accident may even be entitled to greater discounts.
Discount Fees Are Available For Utah Clients
Although Southern Utah accident victims do not face the long and exhausting drives of their counterparts in Southern California, we have decided to offer the same discount fee program for Utah personal injury clients; this makes it possible for our personal injury firm to accept accident cases from anywhere in the State of Utah with equal ease and efficiency.
Utah representation is available in St. George, Washington City, Ivins, Santa Clara, Hurricane and Cedar City in Southern Utah: in Provo, Orem, Logan, Sandy, Draper and Salt Lake City, in Northern Utah, or anywhere throughout the State of Utah. We also provide representation for both California and Utah Residents who are injured while visiting, working or traveling out of their respective states.
